I had a creative crisis last Friday. I felt like I was lost with the design: the shape, the stability, the material, the whole process... But now I feel like I have something to go on with: Corrugated Cardboard.
I needed some material that is light enough to be safe with a heavier base. So that if the room devider falls, there is no worries about hurting people. And the heavier part can't be too heavy because of easy portability, so the cardboard feels like a good solution because of it's lightness.
I found a few years ago that Finnish design company Järvi & Ruoho has come up with a clever chair design called Kenno. Here is a photos of their innovation and some other cardboard ideas from Google.
